Context
We've been in those rooms. For fifteen years, as consultants, entrepreneurs, advisors, and board members, we've sat across the table from founders navigating their hardest moments. The pivot that feels like giving up. The hire that changes everything. The board meeting where the numbers don't tell the real story.
Every time, the same pattern: the context that matters most, the why behind the decisions, the thread connecting last quarter's bet to this quarter's outcome, lives in people's heads. It walks out the door. It gets lost between rounds. It never makes it into the deck.
We built Operalta to fix that.
Co-Founders
Philippe Van Caenegem
Philippe spent eight years as Managing Partner of Strategic Innovation at Salesforce, advising the world's largest enterprises on digital transformation. He chairs New Wind Ventures, has lectured at international business schools, and has spent two decades at the intersection of technology, strategy, and investment.
Raphaël Briner
Raphaël is a serial entrepreneur who built a tabletop telepresence device in 2021 and a social business platform, exited in 2014, each time transforming complex technology into something people actually use. He curates Panoramai, the leading AI summit in French-speaking Switzerland, and lectures on innovation.
What we believe
Founders don't need another tool. They need a thinking partner that remembers the key metrics and decisions.
We've watched AI become faster, cheaper, more capable, and more forgettable. A brilliant answer to today's question that forgets yesterday's context is just noise with better grammar.
Operalta is different because it was built by people who understand what founders actually go through. Not the pitch deck version, the real version.
We built a platform that listens, remembers, connects the dots, not to replace your judgment, but to sharpen it.
Why now
The world is racing toward AI agents that act on your behalf. But action without memory is reckless. Decisions without context and limited knowledge are dangerous. Speed without governance is just expensive chaos.
Operalta exists at the intersection where AI becomes genuinely useful for the people making the hardest decisions: startup founders building something from nothing, and the investors who back them.
Solo AI tools are everywhere. We're building something rarer: a platform where founding teams think together and where intelligence grows with every conversation.
Closing
Based in Switzerland. Built for founders and investors everywhere.
