Product guide / Flow

team chat, with a catch-up summary

Keep the company conversation moving.

Flow is the group chat for founders, teams, and AI. Topics hold the discussion; Flash Memos make the important part catchable without reading all of it.

A team continuing a shared company conversation

Where this helps

The expensive part of a long thread is not reading it. It is the parallel decisions taken by everyone who didn't.

The question it puts in front of you

What did the team settle while I was heads-down?

Where judgment belongs

You decide what the thread actually concluded. A memo summarizes; it never ratifies.

What gets prepared for you

A long discussion is compressed into a TL;DR that links straight back to the reasoning behind it.

Execution & collaboration

How a thread stays catchable.

01

Work with teammates and AI in one shared company conversation.

02

See contributors, who is viewing, and the mentions that need attention.

03

Organize topics across Product, Growth, People, Finance, and Operations.

04

Create a Flash Memo with @share, then return to the full thread when detail matters.

Flow in the real world

The leadership thread nobody had time to read.

After a leadership discussion, a founder shares the thread as a Flash Memo. The team sees the topic, contributors, domain, message count, date, and a short TL;DR in Flow. Anyone who needs the reasoning opens the original group conversation and continues with the same context.

The Flash Memo is a concise reading layer over the discussion — it speeds up catching up, it does not stand in for the decision.

What holds up

What it does well, and what it was never meant to do.

Constraints are a design position, not an apology. Everything on the left ships today; everything on the right we decided against.

What you can rely on in Flow

  • The topic rail shows active and archived group conversations.
  • The Flash Memo feed extracts each memo TL;DR and links back to its topic.
  • Live presence shows who else is currently viewing the conversation.

What we chose not to build

  • A Flash Memo is a reading layer, not an approved decision or a verified fact.
  • A group conversation does not automatically become company knowledge.
  • Flow has no direct file export — durable output belongs to the downstream product.
